About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support creative concepting for paid social and CTV across Earnings, Cash Advance, and Credit Building verticals
- Assist in preparing creative briefs for production cycles
- Contribute script ideas and creative angles for UGC-style video and CTV ads
- Edit and update static ad assets in Figma as needed with the design team
- Monitor TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube trends and translate them into actionable paid creative insights
- Conduct competitive research and surface creative references to inform ad direction
- Support creative QA during video review via Frame.io and flag revisions
- Adapt concepts quickly based on real-time performance feedback
- Collaborate with the Social Media Manager, design team, and Growth Marketing team
- Participate in team meetings, Slack discussions, and social events
Requirements
What you’ll need- Deeply tapped into social media and understanding of why certain content performs
- Ability to bridge organic social thinking and paid creative strategy
- Strong instincts for short-form ad copy and UGC-style creative
- Organized and able to manage multiple concepts and briefs
- Clear communication and ability to articulate creative ideas concisely
- Resourceful, self-motivated, and comfortable in a test-and-learn environment
- Familiarity with or curiosity about paid social advertising, including hooks, offers, and CTAs
- Understanding of the difference between organically performing content and content that converts as a paid ad
- Candidates must be based in Canada
- Minimum 6-hour overlap with the Eastern Time Zone
- Availability to work a 40-hour work week
- Ability to work core hours from 9/10 am to 5/6 pm EST, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility
- Must be currently attending a college, university, or school
- Must provide an unofficial grade report
- Internship must be part of an academic program or completed independently, as applicable
