About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the executive social media program, advising on strategy, content, and engagement
- Maintain a content calendar and pipeline of executive social content
- Monitor and measure social media results and adjust strategy as needed
- Recommend content formats and test different ideas
- Identify opportunities for executives to join trending conversations and share their point of view
- Lead product communications across Superhuman Mail, Docs, Go, and Agents
- Ensure consistent, compelling narratives across the full product portfolio
- Partner with product and marketing teams to shape messaging frameworks
- Align product launches with broader company storytelling
- Drive awareness of how the products work together
- Work with community and customer marketing leads to identify customer stories and determine the best platforms for sharing them
- Manage the speaking and awards program with the PR agency
- Act as communications liaison with the events team and support it as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of experience in communications, working in-house and/or at an agency
- Experience working in technology; knowledge of AI preferred
- Well-versed in new media and traditional media landscapes
- Proven experience managing executive social media programs, including ghostwriting and building content calendars for C-suite leaders
- Experience owning product launch communications end-to-end, including strategy, messaging, spokesperson preparation, and execution
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to adapt voice and tone for different executives and platforms
- Strong media relations skills
- Existing relationships with technology and business reporters
- Habit of closely following reporter coverage
- Sharp editorial instincts and ability to identify newsworthy topics, spot trends early, and find creative brand angles
- Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and proactively manage tasks and priorities across multiple projects
- Ability to analyze and execute work efficiently
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, results-driven environments
- Based in San Francisco or New York
- Willingness to travel occasionally
