About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Configure and operate the GRC automation platform
  • Connect data sources, build evidence plugins, scope datasets, author analysis rules, and establish continuous monitoring
  • Replace screenshot-and-upload workflows with automated collectors mapped to controls
  • Use Claude Code or similar agentic AI systems and MCPs for evidence requests, control mapping, gap analysis, vendor reviews, and reporting
  • Build and curate the team’s agent harness
  • Manage policies, control definitions, and automation in GitHub using branches, pull requests, and review
  • Design and test controls across SOC 2, ISO 27001, ISO 27017/27018, ISO 27701, PCI DSS, and ISO 42001
  • Drive continuous assurance instead of point-in-time snapshots
  • Collaborate with control owners and engineering to remediate gaps using automated evidence
  • Ship automated evidence collectors, retire manual screenshot evidence, and implement agent-assisted workflows

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years in compliance, GRC, or IT audit
  • Hands-on experience with SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and adjacent frameworks
  • 1+ year using agentic AI systems such as Claude Code or Codex for real compliance work
  • Delivered compliance automation, not just prototypes
  • Comfortable with GitHub repositories, branches, pull requests, and code review
  • CI/CD familiarity is a strong plus
  • Ability to learn and configure a GRC automation platform directly
  • Deep GRC fluency in control design, evidence, risk, and audit practices
  • Working knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP, including IAM, compute, storage, networking, and security controls
  • Ability to automate repetitive manual work
  • Nice to have: familiarity with APIs, JSON, logs, Python, bash, or TypeScript
  • Nice to have: prior experience with Vanta, Drata, or similar GRC automation platforms
  • Nice to have: scripting, light coding, and API integration experience
  • Nice to have: certifications such as CISA, CISSP, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, or similar
  • Nice to have: AI governance, AI risk management, or ISO 42001 exposure
  • Nice to have: technology, SaaS, or engineering-adjacent background
