About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the design vision, experimentation approaches, and execution for top-of-funnel web experiences, including homepages, landing pages, acquisition flows, sign-up, and conversion surfaces
- Build and expand a rigorous design-led experimentation practice
- Partner with data, product, marketing, and growth engineering to design, ship, and analyze A/B tests and multivariate experiments
- Lead design of interactive web experiences, logged-out product experiences, personalization opportunities, and high-engagement web tools
- Hire, mentor, and grow a team of growth web and content designers
- Establish a culture of high craft, iteration, bold design point-of-view, and strong cross-functional partnership
- Advise Growth leadership on opportunities, priorities, bets, roadmap, and strategy
- Expand scalable design patterns, templates, component systems, and repeatable playbooks
- Collaborate with Brand, Marketing, Product, Engineering, Research, and Data Science to deliver cohesive, on-brand, high-performing web experiences
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience leading web design teams
- Experience managing designers working on top-of-funnel, conversion, or acquisition surfaces
- Experience balancing experimentation with brand moments
- Knowledge of conversion design, experiment structure, and interpreting results
- Strong visual, interaction, and web design craft and taste
- Ability to work with engineers to preserve design details
- Experience with interactive and productized web experiences, such as tools, calculators, personalization flows, anonymous editors, or signed-out interactive web products
- Systems-thinking ability to develop scalable patterns, templates, component systems, and playbooks
- Exceptional cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Data
- Clear, compelling communication of design decisions to teams, leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders
