About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead, coach, and develop front-line managers and Account Executives to exceed revenue and activity targets across SMB and Mid-Market segments
  • Own Go SMB and Commercial sales strategy and go-to-market execution
  • Partner with ATU leadership, Product, Customer Success, and Marketing to drive a cohesive sales motion
  • Build a culture grounded in accountability, psychological safety, and continuous improvement
  • Drive rigorous pipeline management and forecasting discipline
  • Define and standardize onboarding, sales methodology, and enablement
  • Identify skill gaps and partner with enablement to provide tools, training, and frameworks for complex, multi-value-proposition deals
  • Serve as senior commercial presence on key deals, guiding strategy and supporting C-suite conversations
  • Navigate late-stage deal complexity
  • Partner with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success leadership to shape product narrative, surface customer insights, and influence roadmap priorities
  • Represent the Go sales team in business-unit leadership discussions
  • Provide sales perspective on go-to-market decisions
  • Hire, onboard, and retain exceptional talent
  • Build a talent bench ahead of growth and planned leave coverage
  • Drive pipeline, bookings, and customer expansion across SMB and Mid-Market segments

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10+ years of SaaS sales experience, with at least 5 years in a sales leadership role managing a team of Account Executives
  • Proven track record of building and leading high-performing enterprise sales teams in a land-and-expand or expansion-driven motion
  • Experience leading in a matrixed or multi-product selling environment, such as STU/ATU, overlay, or specialist AE model
  • Deep expertise in enterprise sales cycles
  • Demonstrated success engaging VP and C-Suite stakeholders across IT, procurement, and multiple lines of business
  • Background in collaboration, productivity, or work management SaaS tools strongly preferred
  • Experience at a progressive tech company with a strong product culture is a plus
  • Strong coaching orientation and ability to identify skill gaps and build targeted development plans
  • Excellent command of a recognized sales methodology, such as MEDDIC, MEDPICC, Challenger, or equivalent
  • Ability to embed sales methodology into team practice
  • Skilled at building systems and processes in ambiguous environments
  • Ability to design onboarding, enablement frameworks, and repeatable playbooks
  • Data-driven approach to pipeline management and team performance
  • Salesforce proficiency required
  • Exceptional cross-functional partnership skills
  • Fluent in using AI tools in daily workflows and able to champion AI-enabled ways of working
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance
  • Ability to proactively manage tasks and priorities across multiple projects
  • Ability to analyze and execute work efficiently
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
