About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Drive end-to-end engineering delivery for multi-quarter initiatives from planning through launch
Track milestones, surface dependencies, and manage technical risks
Translate engineering requirements into phased delivery plans with clear milestones
Identify critical paths, dependencies, and resource constraints
Engage with engineers on architecture decisions, trade-offs, and system design
Help teams make decisions about scope, quality, and launch readiness
Monitor delivery metrics and engineering health
Establish signals with engineering and data teams to assess system performance
Flag risks early and act when systems do not perform as expected
Run post-launch retrospectives and capture lessons learned

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years of relevant experience in a fast-scaling tech environment
Technical background in Software Engineering, QA, Data Engineering, or similar, or prior Program Manager experience with interest in engineering
Understanding of how software systems are built, through coding, data infrastructure, or embedded engineering-team experience
Strong programme management fundamentals or eagerness to develop them
Understanding of planning cycles, dependency tracking, risk management, and stakeholder communication
Proactive and organized approach to managing multiple engineering workstreams
Ability to build credibility and trust with engineering teams
Comfort with ambiguity and shifting priorities
Must be currently authorized to work in Germany
