About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Capture schematics, check layouts, create BOMs, debug, and test server board/add-on card products
  • Modify and enhance existing designs to improve server-board quality
  • Prepare technical documentation, including product specifications, layout instructions, and test procedures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve engineering issues early
  • Provide documentation and technical support to contract manufacturers and production during sampling and production
  • Support production teams in resolving product problems and customer-related issues
  • Perform design verification tests
  • Ensure products conform to engineering specifications, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations
  • Perform other assigned duties

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering preferred; Master's degree strongly desirable
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with PCB design or layout experience is a plus
  • In-depth knowledge of circuit design (digital, analog, power) and PCB layout
  • Hands-on experience with lab oscilloscopes and debugging skills
  • Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Prior experience with PCB design in enterprise networking servers is a plus
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent organizational skills and problem-solving capability
  • Self-motivated team player able to work in a fast-paced environment
