About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Partner with business leaders to understand organizational goals, workforce challenges, and strategic priorities, translating them into actionable HR solutions
- Advise managers and employees on employee relations, performance management, policy interpretation, workplace concerns, and conflict resolution
- Coach and influence leaders on employee development, talent management, engagement, retention, succession planning, and performance improvement
- Partner with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition to identify workforce needs, develop staffing plans, and support recruitment and selection
- Advise on compensation decisions, including offer packages, salary adjustments, retention recommendations, promotional increases, internal equity, and market competitiveness
- Develop and deliver training programs and individual or group development sessions
- Analyze workforce metrics, HR data, and business trends to identify opportunities and recommend solutions
- Develop and implement HR programs and initiatives
- Address employee concerns and investigate and resolve conflicts fairly and discreetly
- Partner with managers and leadership teams to establish goals and performance expectations, provide feedback, and create development plans
- Ensure HR practices comply with Federal, State, and local employment laws and regulations
- Participate in cross-functional HR projects and initiatives
- Promote inclusion, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Interact with all levels of management while fostering a positive work environment
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- 5 to 8 years of HR experience
- Ideally experience in the hardware manufacturing industry
- Strong business acumen, decision-making, and judgment skills
- Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Customer-centric mindset
- Comprehensive knowledge of Federal, State, and local employment laws and HR best practices
- Experience working with Radford compensation data
- Proficiency with HRIS platforms
- Ability to work independently, resourcefully, and flexibly
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Consulting and relationship-building skills
- Ability to effectively multitask and work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Demonstrated aptitude for growth plan execution and ability to lead towards growth culture
- Regular in-office attendance during standard working hours
