About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Join customer engagements involving agent, tool, or regulated inference deployments
  • Define enterprise safety profiles covering data boundaries, air-gapped or private-cloud operation, human gates, auditing, and enforcement by OpenShell, Sentry, and confidential computing
  • Design neocloud controls for tenant isolation, inference-gateway policy, quotas, blast-radius controls, confidential computing, DPU isolation, and attested evidence
  • Establish proof-of-concept pass/fail criteria and distinguish controls enforceable on installed NVIDIA systems from those requiring BlueField-4 Sentry or Vera-class platforms
  • Map the NVIDIA Open Agent Safety Platform onto Supermicro server, rack, and cluster designs
  • Place OpenShell, Sentry, confidential computing, SmartNIC/DPU security, multi-tenant networking, air-gapped operation, and partner security platforms in system designs
  • Design a control model for mixed AMD, Intel, NVIDIA, and partner storage/networking environments
  • Produce the safety chapter of quote packages, identifying hardware controls, runtime controls, and customer operational controls
  • Create safety design templates for named-enterprise and multi-tenant neocloud engagements
  • Support solution architects and own safety architecture when agents or tenancy are in scope
  • Create customer-facing materials and represent Supermicro in technical sessions with enterprises, GPU cloud operators, NVIDIA, and partners
  • Demonstrate working controls to customers and NVIDIA architects

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s or master’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent
  • 12+ years in security engineering, platform security, cloud security, or applied AI systems
  • 5+ years accepted with hands-on production work on agent or LLM runtime controls, including sandbox, policy engine, gateway, or equivalent
  • Ability to prototype and demonstrate controls using Python or equivalent, containers, and policy or guardrail configuration
  • Hands-on experience with at least two of: NVIDIA OpenShell, NVIDIA Sentry / BlueField / DOCA, confidential computing, inference gateway, NIM, or NeMo Guardrails
  • Hands-on experience with sandboxes, policy engines, secret proxies, identity for agents, or equivalent
  • Experience with regulated enterprise AI or multi-tenant GPU / AI cloud isolation; both strongly preferred
  • Working knowledge of NVIDIA enterprise and safety software and how it lands on server, DPU, and rack designs
  • NVIDIA certification desirable
  • Ability to design controls for mixed GPU/CPU environments and shared-cluster tenancy
  • Comfortable presenting to customer security leaders, cloud architects, and NVIDIA technical teams
  • Exceptional candidates outside San Jose must be located elsewhere in the United States and able to travel for customer workshops
