About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop, optimize, and standardize server assembly and production processes
- Enhance throughput, minimize defects, and reduce costs
- Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and analyze process data
- Implement effective corrective actions
- Collaborate with R&D, Quality, and Supply Chain teams on new products and process changes
- Lead process validation, equipment qualification, and pilot production runs for new server models
- Drive Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain and update work instructions, process flow charts, and training materials
- Monitor production metrics and generate performance reports
- Provide technical support and training to production operators and line leaders
- Facilitate improvement projects and Kaizen events to eliminate waste and increase manufacturing efficiency
- Support implementation of the plant’s strategic plan and provide project management support
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related field
- Candidates with relevant certifications and substantial experience will also be considered
- Preferably 3-5 years of experience in production engineering or manufacturing process support, ideally within a server or electronics manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of server hardware assembly, production workflows, and quality standards, including Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) control
- Proficient in Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, or Six Sigma methodologies; certification is preferred
- Proven experience using data analysis tools such as Excel, Minitab, or similar statistical software
- Familiarity with server components, assembly tools, and ESD control standards
- Experience working with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or ERP platforms is a plus
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, shift-based production environment while maintaining a focus on safety and compliance
