About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Supervise the sales support team, including directing work and providing necessary training
  • Resolve escalated customer inquiries that staff members cannot answer
  • Maintain sales accounts and provide technical and administrative product information
  • Perform daily clerical and office maintenance tasks, including typing correspondence, coordinating, data entry, quotations, and document processing
  • Monitor inventory and follow up on estimated arrival times with purchasers
  • Liaise between sales, purchasing, production, procurement, and logistics departments
  • Assist with intra-company project coordination between sales and non-sales departments
  • Enter, monitor, and communicate directly with clients regarding order status
  • Facilitate credit issues and negotiate returns
  • Develop superior customer service relationships with prospects
  • Produce daily reports for clients
  • Provide backup coverage for the manager and team members
  • Perform additional duties at supervisors' request

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma required
  • Associate degree (AA) preferred
  • 8+ years of experience in the technology industry preferred
  • 1–2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role
  • Proven experience with data entry, production scheduling, and order tracking
  • Strong professional communication skills, including phone, email, written, verbal, and presentation abilities
  • Ability to work effectively across diverse teams, cultures, and geographies
  • Demonstrated customer service experience with the ability to interact directly with clients and resolve issues efficiently
  • Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding performance goals
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
