About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Maintain sales accounts
- Provide technical and administrative product information to customers
- Perform daily clerical and office maintenance tasks, including typing correspondence, coordinating, data entry, quotations, and processing documents
- Monitor inventory and follow up on estimated delivery times with purchasers
- Liaise between sales, purchasing, production, procurement, and logistics departments
- Coordinate intra-company projects between sales and non-sales departments
- Enter, monitor, and communicate directly with clients regarding order status
- Facilitate credit issues and negotiate returns
- Develop customer service relationships with prospects
- Produce daily client reports
- Provide backup support for the supervisor and team members
- Perform additional duties as requested by supervisors
Requirements
What you’ll need- BA/BS degree preferred
- 5–7 years of relevant industry experience preferred
- Experience in data entry, scheduling production, and tracking orders
- Strong and effective professional communication skills in writing, speaking, and presentations
- Experience in customer service and dealing directly with clients
- Problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively within a strong team culture
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment with tight deadlines
