About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage workload for multiple departments across functions
  • Forecast, control, and report project costs within the organization
  • Develop and provide project variances, trending, expenditure analysis, and completion reports
  • Provide forecasting guidance and projections for assigned projects
  • Perform overhead, contract administration, and budget management processes, including monthly preparation and presentation
  • Assist customers with cost-versus-capital decision-making
  • Prepare or review complex standard costs for motherboard, chassis, and server system products
  • Drive efficiency improvements and cost-reduction plans
  • Oversee development of product costs for components, systems, and modules
  • Coordinate internal resources to generate an automatic standard-cost system and database
  • Work closely with internal teams and Sales to achieve optimal pricing and close deals

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field
  • Master’s degree is preferred
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in pricing, product costing, BOM costing, or cost analysis
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Purchasing, Operations, Supply Chain, or related functions
  • Exposure to supplier sourcing processes is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Time management and prioritization abilities
  • Experience coordinating with Sales, Operations, Purchasing, and Logistics to optimize business model, cost structure, and pricing
  • PC or server hardware experience and knowledge is a plus
  • Familiarity with PCB/PCBA cost structures, component costing, or manufacturing processes is a plus
  • Ability to multitask and cross-function between administrative, operations, and sales/client contract
  • Regular in-office attendance during standard working hours is required
  • Ability to commute to and work at the designated San Jose office location
