About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work closely with sales and extended teams to map end-user customer business and partner requirements and provide optimized technical solutions
Provide technical leadership in pre-sales and oversee implementation of solutions
Solve highly technical problems involving system architecture and hardware/software interaction
Apply basic hardware debugging skills
Manage and lead product hardware and software engineers during product development
Manage and lead teams during field problem investigations and resolution
Analyze firmware, drivers, operating systems, applications, and their interactions causing system issues
Develop and review system solutions, technical bid responses, and presentations
Work cross-departmentally to ensure customer satisfaction and timely issue resolution
Build and demonstrate proof-of-concepts meeting or exceeding customer business needs
Present corporate brand, product messaging, and solutions to customers
Visit on-site facilities and operations for solution integration and issue resolution
Travel up to 25%

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering discipline; computer science, computer engineering and electrical engineering preferred
Excellent communication skills and business sense required
Minimum 5-year related experience with Compute/Storage Server or Data Center or IT Infrastructure experience desired
Strong background and experience with x86-based server architecture
Solid HW system design and diagnostics skills
Familiarity with Firmware, Linux, Windows and virtualization platforms is a plus
Strong technical communication and leadership skills to lead investigations with engineers of multiple disciplines
Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment
French language required
Preference for candidates residing in Paris or surrounding area
