About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Capture schematics, check layouts, generate BOMs, and debug and test AI server motherboards, add-on cards, and backplane products
Collaborate with layout, validation, software, firmware, product engineering, and other teams to discover and solve engineering issues early
Enhance product quality and AI solution performance
Prepare technical documentation including product specifications, layout instructions, test procedures, and AI workload qualification guidelines
Ensure products conform to engineering specifications, EMC and energy regulations, and customer performance expectations
Provide clear documentation and technical support to contract manufacturers and production during product sample and production stages
Ensure readiness for AI platform deployments

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master's degree in electrical engineering with 5 years of experience working with x86 and ARM based server/workstation boards is preferred, or Bachelor's degree with 7 years of experience
Deep understanding of x86 architecture
Comprehensive knowledge of PCB layout, debugging tools and software, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers
In-depth knowledge of PCB layout, OrCAD/Allegro tools, circuit design, and PCB structure
Knowledge of high-speed circuit design and voltage regulator circuit design
Familiarity with digital scopes and high-speed bus measurement
Excellent organizational skills and problem-solving capability
Strong ability to adopt and learn new notions and technologies
Self-motivated and enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced environment
