About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist product development and validation of server power supplies and related products.
  • Work cross-departmentally and assist product managers as needed in product development.
  • Plan and coordinate TQM projects.
  • Analyze production failure data and coordinate with relevant departments to track issues.
  • Generate improvement reports and assess feasibility of corrective actions.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for defects and quality issues.
  • Implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Support quality audits and follow-up actions.
  • Establish and improve SOPs and Work Instructions.
  • Perform process analysis, optimization, quality inspections, defect analysis, and test equipment operation and maintenance.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (e.g., Electrical, Computer, Communication, or a related discipline) is preferred; a Master’s degree is an added advantage.
  • Around 5 years of relevant engineering or quality-related experience is desirable.
  • Around 3 years of hands-on or practical exposure in customer support, customer quality, product quality engineering, or product test engineering is preferable.
  • Working knowledge or exposure to quality tools, basic statistics, and structured problem-solving techniques.
  • Experience or familiarity with microelectronics or surface mount technology (SMT) processes.
  • Experience or exposure supporting internal, process, or supplier audits and follow-up actions.
  • Familiarity with SOP or Work Instruction (WI) development, review, or improvement activities.
  • Ability or willingness to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong background and experience in quality improvement processes and issue handling.
  • Knowledge of IQC processes, AQL standards, component test methods, PCBA processes, IPC-A-610, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
  • Knowledge of audit techniques, SOP/WI establishment, 8D reports, 5 Whys, Ishikawa diagrams, process mapping, quality inspection processes, sampling plans, defect analysis, measurement tools, and test equipment.
