About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Ensure product quality and reliability throughout the manufacturing process
  • Monitor and analyze quality metrics
  • Drive product and process improvements
  • Implement design feedback to enhance manufacturability and customer satisfaction
  • Oversee incoming and supplier quality, in-process manufacturing quality, product reliability, and post-sales quality support
  • Lead root cause investigations
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions
  • Establish standardized quality practices
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, supply chain, and global operations teams
  • Manage quality issue analysis and generate Failure Analysis (FA) reports
  • Evaluate material data sheets and adherence to specified criteria
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to achieve and sustain product quality
  • Facilitate communication across cross-functional teams for information exchange and problem-solving
  • Create, collect, analyze, and maintain traceable quality data and records
  • Drive continuous quality improvement initiatives
  • Conduct field site product quality control and collaborate with worldwide quality teams
  • Monitor implementation of solutions and preventative mechanisms
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for consistent quality processes
  • Review and adhere to company policies and applicable employment agreements

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Quality, Electrical Engineering (EE), Mechanical Engineering (ME), or a related field
  • Candidates with relevant certifications and extensive working experience in the Electrical & Electronic Industry will also be considered
  • Ideally over 5 years of progressive quality control experience, specifically within the Electrical & Electronic Industry and supplier quality management
  • Demonstrated expertise in Quality Control (QC) methodologies
  • Extensive experience with quality assurance practices and issue analysis
  • Strong independence, diligence, initiative, and a positive attitude
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and teamwork skills
  • Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Familiarity with Taiwanese business culture is valuable
  • Proficiency in multiple languages will be considered an advantage
