About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead, oversee, coordinate, and monitor engineering programs, including scheduling, planning, product and project cost analysis, early access, and first customer shipment
- Interface frequently with key OEM customers to provide turnkey manufacturing services
- Drive daily production planning, material readiness, shortage prevention, order fulfillment, quality control, and new product development activities
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across Sales, Production, Product Management, and Purchasing to deliver products and resolve issues
- Support NPI, FAI, and ECO project scheduling and material planning to ensure time to market
- Analyze customer forecast demand and maintain material schedule plans to mitigate shortages and accelerate order fulfillment
- Control end-of-life product schedules and material disposition
- Plan post-sale service requirements and prevent excess obsolescence
- Identify and develop business models and process improvement initiatives across supply chain, production, and the product life cycle
- Complete special projects as assigned
- Participate in in-office collaboration, team meetings, training sessions, and other on-site activities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Administration
- Minimum 8 years of experience in the computer/server industry
- Experience in contract manufacturing, product development, project management, quality control, and/or procurement support
- Technical knowledge of material-related and quick-turn engineer-to-order environments
- Proven track record of managing projects and delivering on time
- Ability to coordinate efficiently with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Sales, Operations, Purchasing, and Logistics
- Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills
- Advanced level in Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent presentation skills
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP preferred
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and develop and implement new processes
- Regular in-office attendance during standard working hours
