Senior Project Manager

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage pre- and post-technical sales activities for new and existing opportunities
- Work with Sales and Field Application Engineering teams to understand customer requirements and project scopes
- Collaborate with Project Managers and design engineers to produce design proposals and delivery plans
- Communicate with purchasing teams and suppliers to prepare project materials and equipment
- Coordinate with integration teams and production lines for prototyping and mass production timelines
- Oversee customer projects and control schedules for onsite server rack installations
- Provide daily or weekly status reports to stakeholders
- Participate in or host customer meetings regarding project status, timelines, and deployment requirements
- Collaborate with internal teams to review status, identify challenges, and develop solutions
- Ensure installation processes follow industry standards and best practices
- Conduct site surveys and assessments of customer data center facilities
- Coordinate server rack delivery and installation logistics with customer IT and facilities teams
- Supervise physical server rack installation, placement, alignment, and cable management
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues during onsite installations
- Provide installation documentation and reports, including diagrams, configurations, and post-installation recommendations
- Offer post-installation support and address customer inquiries and concerns
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management or program management
- Significant experience dedicated to onsite server rack installations at customer data centers
- Strong understanding of data center infrastructure and deployment
- Proven track record of successfully managing projects in this domain
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Willingness to travel heavily and ad hoc for customer meetings, site surveys, and onsite server rack deployments
- Flexibility to accommodate frequent domestic and international travel for extended periods
- Strong proficiency in English
- French is a plus
