About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Maintain sales accounts and provide technical and administrative product information
  • Perform daily clerical and office maintenance tasks, including typing correspondence, coordinating, data entry, quotations, and processing documents
  • Monitor inventory and follow up on estimated arrival times with purchasers
  • Liaise between sales, purchasing, production, procurement, and logistics departments
  • Assist with intra-company project coordination between sales and non-sales departments
  • Enter, monitor, and communicate with clients regarding order status
  • Facilitate credit issues and negotiate returns
  • Develop customer service relationships with prospects
  • Produce daily client reports
  • Provide backup support for the supervisor and team members
  • Perform additional duties as requested by supervisors

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • AA degree required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 8+ years of direct, related sales support experience
  • Experience in data entry, scheduling production, and tracking orders
  • Strong professional communication skills, including phone, written/email, and presentation communication
  • Customer service experience and direct client interaction experience
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding assigned jobs
  • Strong computer skills with Word and Excel
  • Strong organizational skills
