About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support Supermicro Global Service network by managing parts inventory globally
  • Ensure the right parts and equipment are stocked
  • Monitor defective returns to Supermicro
  • Maintain accurate inventory records across multiple systems and files
  • Perform data comparison, reconciliation, and validation across different datasets
  • Identify discrepancies and drive resolution with relevant stakeholders
  • Generate reports and provide insights on inventory trends and issues
  • Use advanced Excel functions to map, compare, and analyze large datasets
  • Collaborate with software engineers or technical teams to streamline data comparison processes using SQL, scripts, or other programming tools
  • Support automation initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort
  • Coordinate travel schedules and logistics with managers, field engineers, site leads, and customers
  • Ensure alignment and clear communication across teams regarding schedules and deliverables
  • Act as the main point of contact for the accounting team regarding inventory files, discrepancies, and status updates
  • Facilitate communication between operations, engineering, and finance teams
  • Maintain comprehensive records of communications, updates, and contact points related to inventory activities
  • Document processes, changes, and resolutions for audit and reference purposes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics or equivalent experience preferred
  • Minimum of 1 years experience from high-tech manufacturing industry preferred
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, data analysis, and reconciliation
  • Experience working with or alongside software engineers to streamline workflows using SQL, scripts, or other programming languages
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be willing to travel 10-15% of the time
  • Experience with inventory management systems or ERP tools preferred
  • Basic knowledge of database querying (SQL) or data automation tools preferred
  • Prior experience in cross-functional coordination or operations support roles preferred
