About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and architect system manufacturing test software for diagnosing factory assembly units and identifying product assembly or design defects
Provide direct technical support to production line personnel and resolve real-time production issues
Collaborate with design, product management, validation, and production teams to support product quality
Develop innovative testing features to improve factory efficiency, test coverage, and user experience
Troubleshoot complex issues and resolve them to improve product reliability and performance before shipment
Collaborate daily with the development team in Taiwan to align on project goals and manufacturing test software solutions
Lead projects and provide technical expertise and recommendations for development projects
Stay current with server technologies and develop innovative, competitive solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields from an accredited institution is preferred
Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience as a Software Design Engineer or related role
Expertise in software engineering, especially server management software development and automatic testing
Proficiency in Linux programming using shell, Python scripts, and/or Golang
Proficiency with CursorAI IDE
Strong communication skills and ability to work efficiently within a diverse team environment
Experience with Linux operation and tool development
Experience using SVN and GitLab
Experience with BIOS/BMC is a plus
Fluency in Mandarin is preferred but not required
