About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define datacenter solutions and contribute to the DCBBS product roadmap integrating GPU-accelerated computing, high-speed networking, and scalable storage
- Track industry trends in AI infrastructure, liquid cooling, and next-generation data pipelines
- Lead planning and execution of multidisciplinary initiatives across hardware engineering, software, operations, and marketing
- Coordinate integrated solutions involving GPUs, SmartNICs, NVMe storage, and AI-ready platforms
- Build complete datacenter solutions optimized for direct liquid cooling and high-efficiency air cooling
- Support TCO and energy-efficiency evaluations in customer datacenter environments
- Partner with Supermicro Supercloud software and BIOS/BMC teams on monitoring and analytics capabilities
- Enable predictive maintenance, performance tuning, and workload-aware optimization for AI and HPC use cases
- Identify infrastructure requirements for GenAI training, inference, and massive data-processing workloads
- Research hyperscaler, enterprise-customer, and channel-partner requirements
- Use market insights to influence feature prioritization, packaging, and differentiation
- Develop executive presentations, customer-facing collateral, and sales tools
- Represent the product roadmap in internal and external briefings
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer/Electrical Engineering
- 12+ years of experience in product management, solutions architecture, or technical marketing
- Strong background in datacenter infrastructure (servers, networking, storage), AI platforms, or cloud-native environments
- Demonstrated experience driving complex projects in cross-functional, matrixed organizations
- Excellent presentation skills, with proficiency in PowerPoint and storytelling for executive and technical audiences
- Ability to perform market research, competitive analysis, and customer engagement activities
- High-level understanding of product lifecycle—from concept to launch
- Preferred: Experience with Supermicro hardware, NVIDIA-based AI infrastructure, Kubernetes, or cloud orchestration
- Preferred: Familiarity with Agile methodologies and product management tools (e.g., Jira, Aha!)
- Preferred: Prior experience in enterprise IT, datacenter design, or cloud infrastructure product development
- Preferred: MBA or advanced degree in technical or business field
