About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Partner with the Director of Solution Engineering on strategy for winning major data center projects and increasing data center revenue
Lead marketing and technological research to guide multi-generation solution development decisions
Lead data center solutions development across complex programs with design and testing engineers
Enable new rack- and multi-rack-level data center solutions
Lead pre-sales engagements with strategic customers
Provide solution architectures for demanding data center environments
Own data center programs from design to delivery
Align cross-functional teams and drive customer satisfaction
Build and expand relationships with channel and technology partners
Work with sales and marketing to position and promote new solutions to enterprise and data center customers
Define and deliver solution training for internal organizations, partners, resellers, and end customers
Mentor Product Managers and Senior Product Managers as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need

BSEE/CS required
MSEE/CS with 12+ years of relevant experience or equivalent preferred
Deep knowledge of data center infrastructures, including Cloud, HPC, AI/ML, full-rack, and multi-rack solution design
Deep knowledge of data center power and cooling technologies and their effects on solution architecture, density, and deployment
Proven experience leading large-scale data center projects from design to deployment, including complex, multi-stakeholder programs
Strong capability to bridge engineering and business groups and translate engineering capabilities into business results and customer wins
Excellent organizational, communication, and executive presentation skills
Capability to work across and influence cross-functional organizations
Strong initiative and ability to work in a self-directed environment on ambiguous, high-impact problems
Ability to lead complex programs, set priorities, and meet deadlines
Ability to travel to meet customers
