About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own one or more applications in the Super Fabric Manager software end to end
- Translate requirements into functional specifications
- Design, implement, and review software
- Present and discuss design decisions in team meetings
- Collaborate with technical leads and product managers to meet project goals
- Mentor teammates on best practices and architecture
- Build tools and scripts for continuous development and integration and automated white-box and black-box testing
- Validate problem descriptions, perform detailed diagnostics, and resolve issues
- Create comprehensive documentation, user guides, and methodologies
- Communicate with technical and non-technical audiences
- Collaborate with internal testing, lab, IT, and rack teams to resolve technical issues
- Recommend and implement process improvements
- Build robust, secure, and scalable network solutions
- Collaborate with security teams as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in electronics or computer engineering or equivalent experience
- A minimum of 12 years of extensive hands-on experience in networking software development
- Deep expertise in data center networking with SONiC OS or similar
- Hands-on design and development experience in Intent-based DC Controller or Network Observability & Automation software
- Experience designing and developing AI networking use cases, including backend, frontend, storage and HPC fabrics, fabric observability, fabric automation and troubleshooting
- Agentic AI development experience preferred
- Full stack development experience
- Experience with Node.js, Next.js, JavaScript, and Go
- Clear and effective verbal and written communication
- Active participation in team meetings and discussions
- Ability to receive and give constructive feedback
- Collaborative approach to problem-solving in cross-functional teams
