About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build and improve Voice Agent and Autopilot AI platforms with production code
- Improve agent capabilities, tool integrations, workflow execution, reliability, and performance
- Own enterprise AI deployments from discovery through production rollout and optimization
- Work directly with customers to understand operations and design AI solutions
- Translate business processes into agent behavior, tools, integrations, and human handoffs
- Analyze call transcripts, execution traces, tool calls, and customer data to debug production agents
- Identify failure modes, improve prompts and code, build evaluations, and measure outcomes
- Connect agents with customer systems, APIs, and third-party platforms
- Work across the stack to solve deployment problems and extend product capabilities
- Turn recurring customer needs into reusable product features
- Coordinate technical delivery with implementation managers and other teams
- Lead onsite working sessions and ensure measurable customer business results
- Explain technical decisions, understand business requirements, manage tradeoffs, and build trust with customer leadership
- Work with the CEO, engineering, and product leadership on customer deployments and AI platform evolution
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of software engineering experience
- Production software development, maintenance, debugging, and feature delivery experience
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language
- Comfort with APIs, databases, integrations, backend systems, and working across the stack
- Experience with LLM APIs, agents, tool calling, or AI-powered applications
- Understanding of making nondeterministic AI systems reliable
- Experience with prompts, evaluations, and agent workflows
- Ability to lead technical discovery and translate ambiguous business requirements into working software
- Ability to manage competing priorities, work independently, and drive complex projects to completion
- Ability to discuss architecture with engineers and explain business impact to CEOs or COOs
- Experience with voice AI, real-time systems, agent frameworks, or enterprise integrations is a plus
- Experience in moving, logistics, or field services is helpful but not required
