About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own and achieve financial sales targets for the account base and territory
- Exceed customer profitability goals and seasonal plans
- Manage and strengthen relationships with existing accounts as a trusted business partner and primary point of contact
- Sell in and out of market and attend and lead trade shows while managing sample coordination
- Conduct regular account visits to review performance, present products, identify expansion opportunities, and strengthen relationships
- Analyze weekly selling, inventory, and account performance to identify best sellers, business drivers, opportunities, risks, and available inventory
- Monitor account performance against sales targets, seasonal plans, forecasts, and historical results; communicate variances and recommended actions
- Understand market trends, competition, and the overall state of the business; present and communicate insights internally
- Monitor order and shipment activity and resolve issues affecting sales or customer relationships
- Partner with customer service to manage shipments and resolve issues
- Maintain and prepare samples for trade shows and customer appointments
- Identify key business opportunities and partner with the Manager to maximize sell-in opportunities while aligning with brand vision
- Forecast additional business for the relevant territory and accounts on a weekly and monthly basis
- Maintain accurate and timely account information, sales reporting, forecasts, and follow-up
- Ensure responsiveness, organization, and follow-through across account activities
- Partner with A/R to support timely payment collection and resolve outstanding balances to ensure timely order shipment
- Report directly to the VP, US Wholesale
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of relevant wholesale sales/account management experience, preferably within contemporary fashion, denim, or premium/luxury apparel
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Understanding of specialty store business and contemporary market
- Denim experience appreciated
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Outgoing, entrepreneurial spirit, ability to cold call and develop new business
- Highly organized with excellent follow-up and time-management skills
- Strong business judgment and problem-solving skills with a solutions-oriented approach
- Highly motivated; ability to take initiative to complete tasks quickly and independently
- Intermediate Excel skills, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, PivotTables, and basic data analysis
- Ability to travel approximately 30–40%
