Key responsibilities & impact

Own delivery of a multi-year, multi-workstream carrier engagement from Solution Design Workshop handoff through go-live and transition into managed services
Turn confirmed scope into an integrated implementation plan with epics, milestones, dependencies and a resource-loaded timeline
Run concurrent platform configuration, integration, forms, data migration and vendor-deliverable workstreams under one critical path
Ensure execution of timelines, budget, scope and delivery quality
Run kickoff and Sprint 0, including client prerequisites
Track hours, estimates to complete, estimates at completion and variances; forecast overruns and recommend actions
Maintain SOW assumptions, identify change-order triggers, and draft and negotiate change orders
Own RAID and query logs, mitigate risks and dependencies, and escalate threats to milestones, budget or relationships
Produce internal briefings and client-facing status decks with Schedule, Scope, Quality and Budget ratings
Track decisions and action items; maintain program documentation, dashboards and success metrics
Serve as the carrier's primary delivery counterpart, run weekly status meetings and support steering committees
Coordinate Scrum Masters, Business Analysts, engineering, QA, support, Product and third-party vendors
Own acceptance gate readiness, UAT planning, migration readiness, cutover, hypercare, go/no-go decisions and handoff to managed services

Requirements

What you’ll need

6 to 10 years of project delivery experience in SaaS or insurtech, including complex client engagements
Track record of leading multi-year engagements valued at up to $10M, with direct accountability for budget, margin-relevant hours and change orders
Experience running 2 or more concurrent workstreams under one integrated plan
Strong financial management, including work-order or SOW budget tracking, estimate-to-complete forecasting and variance reporting on fixed-price and time-and-materials contracts
Skill in scope and change control, including identifying the need for change orders
Experience working with Agile delivery teams and Scrum Masters
Clear status reporting, steering committee facilitation and calm escalation
Proven ownership of RAID management, UAT, cutover and go-live for enterprise software implementations
Working knowledge of Jira or similar delivery tooling
Experience establishing success metrics and running post-launch evaluations
Deep knowledge of an enterprise insurance SaaS platform, life insurance, annuities or broader financial services, ACORD standards, e-signature and forms workflows, platform upgrades or legacy-to-modern migrations, and AI-assisted delivery tools are nice to have
PMP or equivalent certification preferred; Agile certification (CSM or SAFe) recommended
