About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead strategic procurement processes for large-scale CAPEX projects
  • Support projects from the Early Engagement phase through engineering studies and project planning
  • Develop contracting strategies for EPC, EPS, EPCM, Turnkey, Lump-Sum and Unit-Price packages
  • Conduct national and international tenders for industrial equipment, technology packages, specialized technical services, civil construction, electromechanical assembly and engineering contracts
  • Lead highly complex strategic negotiations with domestic and international suppliers
  • Prepare and present executive recommendations, contracting strategies and commercial scenarios to Executive Management, Boards of Directors, Investment Committees and the Vice Presidency
  • Serve as Procurement’s primary liaison in executive forums related to CAPEX projects
  • Influence business decisions through robust analysis, clear communication and fact- and data-based arguments
  • Conduct TCO (Total Cost of Ownership), Should Cost and financial model analyses
  • Develop and expand the supplier market by identifying domestic and international opportunities
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Legal, Fiscal, Tax, Finance and corporate functions
  • Assess commercial, contractual, tax and logistics risks
  • Develop and monitor project procurement plans
  • Propose value capture, synergy and cost-reduction initiatives
  • Support the technical development of other team members and serve as a subject-matter reference for strategic Procurement topics

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, International Trade or a related field
  • Postgraduate degree, MBA or specialization in Project Management, Supply Chain, Procurement or Finance is a plus
  • Fluent English (required)
  • SAP proficiency
  • Advanced Power BI skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience in CAPEX Procurement and large-scale industrial projects
  • Experience with Greenfield and Brownfield projects
  • Experience in Strategic Sourcing and Category Management
  • Experience conducting domestic and international negotiations
  • Knowledge of EPC, EPCM and Lump-Sum contracts
  • Strong supplier management and strategic procurement capabilities
  • Knowledge of TCO, economic analysis and procurement governance
  • Experience with highly complex projects involving significant financial impact
