About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Prepare monthly accruals and support the full-cycle month-end close
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and balance sheet account reconciliations
- Prepare monthly flux analysis
- Record monthly statutory entries for international entities and support consolidation
- Prepare monthly payroll journal entries and process US payroll
- Liaise with statutory accounting firms on payroll, bank reconciliations, and related entries
- Prepare customer invoices and manage collections
- Book partner revenue share entries and prepare related reporting
- Prepare reporting for external parties such as banks and customers
- Record GST and sales tax return entries, and assist the Corporate Controller in preparing tax filings with the external tax firm
- Support the annual audit, including preparing PBCs and driving audit readiness
- Support tax return preparation, including preparing PBCs
- Assist the Corporate Controller with NetSuite system administration
- Take on ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Corporate Controller
- Report to the Corporate Controller
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related discipline
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- CPA preferred but not required
- Prior audit experience preferred
- Experience with FloQast, NetSuite, Drivetrain, and Zenskar
- Big 4 or mid-tier public accounting firm experience
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Detail-oriented and able to take ownership of work
- Team player who builds effective relationships
- Curious, takes initiative, and has a bias for action
