About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure the company’s legal security in its contracting activities
- Provide general legal advice on company matters across all areas of law, except tax and environmental law
- Review supplier contracts, confidentiality agreements, and sales campaigns
- Draft contracts, amendments, appendices, and formal letters
- Respond to potential complaints submitted to administrative bodies, such as PROCON and Reclame Aqui
- Advise internal teams on suppliers, terminations, penalties, and documents received from third parties
- Identify opportunities and implement appropriate strategies to address the company’s challenges
- Contribute to Swile Brazil’s results and growth
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in legal advisory work and contracts within an in-house legal department
- Active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB)
- 7 or more years of professional experience
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in task execution
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Excellent knowledge of civil and consumer law
- Fluency in English
- Ability to manage multiple agreements of moderate complexity simultaneously
- Ability to make independent decisions while following local and global negotiation guidelines
- Ability to independently draft relatively complex documents
- Ability to analyze and assess risks in relation to their impact on the business
