About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the day-to-day execution, reliability, and continuous improvement of cloud and infrastructure platforms
  • Own operational delivery, reliability, and lifecycle management of Azure, AWS, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Entra ID, F5, DNS, Intune, SCCM, Windows, and Red Hat environments
  • Establish support models, ownership boundaries, lifecycle plans, and operational standards
  • Lead monitoring, incident response, patching, maintenance, platform health, and operational readiness
  • Ensure consistent ITSM practices for incident, problem, and change management
  • Drive infrastructure automation, Infrastructure as Code, Terraform, CI/CD, scripting, orchestration, and repeatable infrastructure builds
  • Implement and enforce security controls with Cybersecurity and support audit readiness
  • Lead identity lifecycle execution, access reviews, privileged access workflows, RBAC, least privilege, PIM, and automated provisioning and deprovisioning
  • Translate business priorities into infrastructure capabilities, roadmaps, service improvements, and investment recommendations
  • Advance emerging technologies, AI-enabled operations, platform modernization, and operating-model improvements
  • Execute the infrastructure roadmap and drive modernization, cost optimization, resiliency, and simplified operations
  • Lead and integrate the Cloud Infrastructure and IT Operations team
  • Develop team members through coaching, technical growth, career pathing, and accountability
  • Establish and report KPIs covering operational effectiveness, service quality, automation maturity, financial efficiency, security, reliability, capacity, and business value
  • Manage cloud and infrastructure spend through FinOps practices
  • Oversee vendor relationships, licensing, renewals, commercial performance, and service delivery

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 8 or more years of experience in infrastructure, cloud, systems engineering, or IT operations
  • 3 or more years of leadership experience
  • Strong experience with Azure, AWS, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Entra ID
  • Experience with automation tools and practices, including Terraform, scripting, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience supporting regulated environments and security frameworks such as CMMC, NIST 800-53, or NIST 800-171
  • Working knowledge of IAM practices, including identity lifecycle management, RBAC, least privilege, and privileged access management
  • Experience working closely with Cybersecurity teams to implement technical controls and support audit readiness
  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams, improve operational maturity, and deliver reliable infrastructure services
