About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Discover pain points across product, engineering, data, design, operations, sales, and product marketing
  • Translate organizational pain points into AI-enabled solutions
  • Experiment with and implement AI-assisted developer tooling using Claude Code
  • Build AI-enhanced CI/CD pipelines
  • Evaluate frontier models including Claude, Gemini, Kimi, and GPT
  • Integrate suitable AI models into team workflows
  • Build and evolve AI-augmented testing pipelines using Claude Code and Playwright
  • Generate test cases, test data, unit tests, and end-to-end automation from product specifications
  • Improve and refactor large codebases using AST-based tooling
  • Evaluate and deploy AI-powered design tools including Figma, Pencil, Stitch, Veo, and Nano Banana
  • Integrate AI-native intelligence platforms into go-to-market, operations, customer success, and support workflows
  • Scout, test, and benchmark emerging AI tools
  • Create internal chat assistants, dashboards, browser extensions, and Slack integrations
  • Establish best practices for agentic engineering, model evaluation, cost management, security, and responsible AI use
  • Monitor AI-powered systems for reliability, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2+ years in engineering or DevOps roles
  • Well-versed in TypeScript, Java, and Python
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform, GitHub flows/actions, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Knowledge of AWS
  • Experience building with AI, including frontier models such as Claude, Kimi, or Gemini
  • Experience with agentic coding tools or AI-powered workflows
  • Ability to translate cross-functional pain points into working tools
  • Links to GitHub repositories must be included with the application
  • Must be able to work in the Redwood City, California office two to three days weekly
  • Open to Engineer, Senior, or Lead candidates
