About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Convert qualified opportunities into signed new-logo business and achieve a defined revenue target.
  • Own the sales process from qualification through discovery, scoping, proposal development, negotiation, and close.
  • Manage a portfolio of qualified opportunities to improve win rate and increase closed-won opportunities.
  • Build relationships with technical, security, business, and executive stakeholders.
  • Work with technical and engagement teams to understand client challenges, shape solutions, and bring the right expertise into opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain opportunity plans, stakeholder maps, decision criteria, competitive considerations, next steps, and forecasts.
  • Lead client meetings, workshops, and presentations demonstrating Sygnia’s cybersecurity capabilities.
  • Coordinate the commercial transition from sales into delivery, communicating client expectations, commitments, and relationship context.
  • Own commercial expansion during the first six months of each new client relationship and develop follow-on opportunities before transitioning the account.
  • Collaborate with business development, marketing, and partner teams to progress opportunities toward close.
  • Contribute market, buyer, and competitive insights to strengthen sales approach, messaging, and go-to-market priorities.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven track record of converting qualified opportunities into new-logo revenue, ideally within cybersecurity consulting, professional services, or a related technology environment.
  • Seven to ten years of professional experience, including significant experience in client-facing sales, business development, consulting, or cybersecurity services.
  • Strong sales mindset with a demonstrated ability to advance qualified opportunities, navigate complex buying environments, negotiate effectively, and close business.
  • Strong client service orientation, with the ability to build credibility and trust quickly with technical, business, and executive stakeholders.
  • Ability to understand complex cybersecurity challenges and translate them into relevant business outcomes and service opportunities.
  • Disciplined opportunity management skills, including the ability to manage multiple pursuits, maintain momentum, and provide realistic forecasts.
  • Proactive, independent, and hands-on working style with the ability to operate effectively in fast-moving and high-pressure environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong presentation and negotiation capabilities.
  • Experience working in a matrixed organization and collaborating across multiple teams and geographies.
  • Positive, adaptable mindset with the ability to learn quickly and navigate changing client and market needs.
  • Ability to travel within the United States approximately 20 percent of the time, primarily for client meetings, relationship development, and industry events.
  • Bonus: Experience selling cybersecurity consulting, incident response, managed security, or other complex cybersecurity services.
  • Bonus: Experience winning large enterprise clients and navigating complex, multi-stakeholder buying processes.
  • Bonus: Existing relationships with CISOs, CIOs, CTOs, and other senior security and technology leaders.
  • Bonus: Experience selling into Fortune 1000 or other large enterprise organizations.
