Key responsibilities & impact

Work on microservice APIs throughout the entire development process
Participate in a cross-shore development team
Influence and collaborate to create APIs
Participate in Agile scrums with cross-functional teams
Leverage AI to develop, enhance and document APIs and solutions
Identify ways to increase efficiency and improve system performance
Participate in hack-a-thons and university innovation events
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related degree OR High School Diploma/GED with 2 years of Java development experience in lieu of degree
Critical thinking, creativity and problem-solving skills
Ability and flexibility to travel for business as required
Familiarity building and consuming REST web services
Java development experience
Familiarity with Spring and Spring Boot
Familiarity with Jira, Bitbucket and Git
Familiarity with continuous integration environments
Familiarity writing unit and integration tests
Familiarity with JSON, REST and XML-based web services
Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work cross-functionally across a matrix organization
Ability to troubleshoot systems, identify root cause, action plans, impact and resolution options
Must be 18 years or older
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
Must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints
Must satisfy Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. required
