About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Sell Regional and Store-level Dick’s Sporting Goods leadership on product benefits to drive product engagement and in-store execution
  • Maintain client relationships through timely communication and attendance at market/store meetings
  • Develop in-store product execution strategies and action plans
  • Ensure regional strategies are rolled out effectively to stores
  • Drive application volume to meet or exceed plan goals
  • Meet or exceed client satisfaction targets
  • Implement in-store marketing programs and conduct ongoing training
  • Develop credit awareness programs with store and market management
  • Audit signage and point-of-sale materials for compliance and communicate issues
  • Support Client Program Manager and client team initiatives
  • Compile and present results of ongoing credit programs
  • Manage travel and marketing budgets
  • Attend and support store opening and relocation events
  • Develop and maintain external client relationships at store, market, and regional levels
  • Attend Grand Opening training, often on weekends, 2–6 times per quarter
  • Maximize credit support and commitment at store level
  • Develop annual store marketing plans
  • Perform other assigned duties and special projects
  • Cover a territory including Atlanta, Florida, Alabama, North Carolina, and South Carolina
  • Travel approximately 75% of the time

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years’ experience working in the Financial Services Field or Retail Store Management, or HS diploma/GED and 5+ years' experience in lieu of a completed degree
  • Minimum of 3 years of field or outside sales experience
  • Minimum of 2 years Client Relationship Management experience
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience developing presentations and pitching to all levels of management
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Willing to travel up to 75% of the time
  • Located in the Atlanta, Charlotte, or Orlando areas
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation, and submit fingerprints
  • Must satisfy Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. required
  • Employment visa sponsorship is not available
  • Private Label Sales and/or Marketing experience desired
  • Retail Industry Sales and/or financial industry experience desired
  • Strong negotiation and client relationship skills
  • Strong finance business/industry acumen
