About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build relationships with Walgreens Regional Vice Presidents, District Managers, and Store Managers in the assigned territory
- Sell product benefits to drive credit applications and sales and meet or exceed credit goals
- Partner with the SYF Regional Manager to develop and execute credit strategies with Walgreens Regional Vice Presidents
- Communicate effectively and gain commitment for participation in RVP/DM meetings
- Visit stores with Walgreens field leadership
- Communicate credit performance, business updates, and best practices during Regional and District calls and meetings
- Adhere to client guidelines for field interactions with field leadership
- Develop credit strategies aligned with client processes and priorities
- Audit credit signs and point-of-sale credit materials and communicate compliance issues
- Conduct ongoing credit training
- Maximize credit support and commitment at RVP, District, and Store levels to drive performance
- Collaborate with internal functional leaders
- Attend or support store opening, relocation events, and off-site meetings as requested
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
- Provide virtual and in-person support
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years’ experience working in the Financial Services Field or Retail Store Management, or HS diploma/GED and 5+ years’ experience in lieu of a completed degree
- Minimum of 3 years of field or outside sales experience
- Minimum of 2 years of Client Relationship Management experience
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience developing presentations and pitching to all levels of management
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Willing to travel up to 75% of the time
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation, and submit fingerprints as part of onboarding
- Must satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. required
- Employer will not sponsor employment visas
