About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead development and maintenance of the platform’s multi-year commercial strategy
  • Partner with Growth to develop ideal client profiles, client archetypes, buying signals, priority use cases, and qualification criteria
  • Create client- and industry-level commercialization strategies and playbooks
  • Assess market, competitive, client, and portfolio insights to identify whitespace opportunities and adoption barriers
  • Translate commercial strategy into a prioritized roadmap for product adoption, marketing enablement, sales/client activation, and measurement
  • Lead cross-functional planning across Platform, Product, Growth, Sales/Client teams, Industry leaders, Marketing, Finance, and Analytics
  • Set direction and priorities for the Product Strategist and Marketing Strategist; coach and integrate their work
  • Develop business cases and executive recommendations for investments, resource allocation, and go-to-market changes
  • Create governance and operating rhythms to review commercial performance and adjust strategy
  • Advise platform leadership on growth opportunities, commercialization decisions, and portfolio tradeoffs
  • Lead client-facing presentations with client teams
  • Guide commercial enablement materials, client-facing messaging, and market-facing communications
  • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned
  • Deliver platform commercial strategy, strategic priorities, client profiles, use-case frameworks, commercialization playbooks, positioning and sequencing strategy, integrated roadmaps, executive decision materials, performance scorecards, and recurring strategy reviews
  • Drive growth in qualified pipeline, product penetration, adoption, and revenue attributable to priority commercialization efforts

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, strategy, finance, economics, or a related field; in lieu of a degree, a high school diploma/GED and 15 years of related experience
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in commercial strategy, growth strategy, product commercialization, management consulting, go-to-market, or consumer marketing
  • Experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives and influencing senior stakeholders without relying solely on formal authority
  • People leadership experience and a track record of setting clear direction and developing high-performing strategic talent
  • Client relationship management experience, including selling complex ideas or programs
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen, including market sizing, segmentation, business-case development, prioritization, and performance measurement
  • Enterprise and portfolio strategy
  • Commercial judgment and opportunity prioritization
  • Client and industry segmentation
  • Executive communication and influence
  • Cross-functional leadership and operating-model design
  • Analytical problem-solving and disciplined decision-making

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation, and submit fingerprints as part of onboarding
  • Must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. required
