About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee management and development of new tools and capabilities within the Authentication & Security Services division in IAM
  • Lead a team while contributing hands-on design and engineering as required
  • Work across organizational boundaries to understand the technology ecosystem
  • Drive operational excellence, governance, and oversight of enterprise services
  • Develop and execute Identity Security product roadmaps as Agile Product Owner
  • Manage development, testing, implementation, and operations of ISPM and ITDR platforms to improve identity hygiene
  • Develop and maintain processes for IAM defect identification, triage, remediation, and system hardening
  • Reduce the IAM attack surface
  • Oversee Zero Trust access policy engineering and enable continuous adaptive risk-based policies
  • Minimize friction for authorized enterprise users
  • Drive governance, technical excellence, operational processes, and platform risk management using security, performance, and availability metrics
  • Collaborate with technical leaders, solution architects, engineers, security stakeholders, governance teams, and subject matter experts to review and integrate technologies
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BS/BA in Computer Science, another technical degree, or Business Management and 10 years of IT experience; or, in lieu of degree, High School Diploma/GED and 15 years of IT experience
  • 5+ years of experience leading teams of engineers or analysts
  • 5+ years of experience leading engineering, delivery, and support of technology solutions for medium to large enterprises
  • 5+ years of experience planning, designing, building, and managing enterprise security tools
  • 5+ years of experience with security policy engineering, including firewall, network, authentication, and zero trust policy
  • Strong understanding of identity and access management principles and best practices in modern IDPs, directories, and authentication systems
  • Experience with secure architectures, security posture hardening, vulnerability management, and security operations integrations
  • Ability and flexibility to travel for business as required
  • 10+ years of experience leading mission-critical technology and/or security functions in a large, highly regulated enterprise
  • 5+ years of experience in an information security domain, with expertise in Identity & Access Management, Infrastructure Security, or similar
  • Experience with security posture management tools and concepts, including ISPM, CSPM, and XSPM
  • Experience with Agile methodologies as a Product Owner and/or Tech Lead
  • Strong executive presence and ability to communicate technical strategy to appropriate audiences
  • Ability to drive cross-functional change through collaboration and understanding of business initiatives
  • Strategic thinking about use of identity security platforms to support organizational goals
  • Proven analytical mindset and ability to identify patterns or correlations within data sets
  • Critical attention to detail and ability to coordinate multiple deliverables across teams
  • Experience designing and building with DevOps, API-driven solutions, and fully automated service delivery capabilities
  • Knowledge of SOX, PCI, and NIST regulatory standards and frameworks
  • Knowledge of cyber defense and information security policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Knowledge of IT risk management policies, requirements, and procedures
  • Industry-recognized certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, GISP, or CASP
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be willing to take a drug test, undergo a background investigation, and submit fingerprints
  • Must satisfy Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. required; employment visa sponsorship is not available
