About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead a regional field sales team of Metro and Area Practice Development Managers
- Increase CareCredit usage and credit submissions across the assigned Western U.S. region
- Hire, mentor, coach, counsel, co-travel with, and train Practice Development Managers
- Execute regional sales strategies with the VP, Veterinary Sales Leader
- Drive a high-performance culture, accountability, and consistent regional results
- Manage execution of national and regional sales and marketing initiatives
- Conduct one-on-ones, field observations, virtual and physical co-travels, and performance evaluations
- Own regional Net Credit Sales, amount financed per provider, and provider credit submissions
- Establish team priorities, performance expectations, and accountability
- Implement measures, recognition, and reward systems
- Apply sales strategies, tactics, and best practices to drive usage and improve results
- Partner with marketing, operations, industry leadership, and the Tradeshow Team on systems, campaigns, events, and revenue growth
- Monitor the field, gather voice-of-customer insights, and identify improvement opportunities
- Provide regional analysis and reporting and increase usage through Salesforce
- Manage team travel and expenses within company guidelines
- Lead team efforts supporting industry trade shows
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in Financial Services and/or outside sales; or High School Diploma/GED and 10+ years of experience in Financial Services and/or outside sales in lieu of a degree
- Minimum of 2 years of territory sales and/or marketing experience with a track record of achieving or exceeding results
- Experience leading, developing, mentoring, and holding sales professionals accountable for performance
- Ability to establish priorities, manage competing demands, and deliver against business objectives in a fast-paced environment
- Experience driving change, improving performance, and executing through others
- Ability to travel up to 80% of the time, including overnight and some weekend travel
- Must live within, or be willing to relocate to, the region of responsibility; Southern California is highly preferred
- Healthcare, sales, finance, and/or marketing experience desired
- Two years of experience working in a Vet or medical practice setting desired
- Private Label sales and marketing experience; finance business and industry acumen desired
- Proven success launching, scaling, and managing new products desired
- Two years of sales leadership experience desired
- Excellent client relationship and interpersonal communication skills
- Knowledge of customer financial drivers and needs
- Customer-focused mindset
- Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills
- Proven ability to work remotely and independently
- Strong strategic planning skills
- Experience with CRM and sales analytics platforms such as Salesforce and Tableau
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation, and submit fingerprints
- Must satisfy Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. required; employment visa sponsorship unavailable
