About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Maximize value delivered by Agile teams supporting core Payment Hub capabilities
- Contribute to Payment Hub product vision and roadmap decisions using data, operational insights, and regulatory needs
- Identify future capabilities, prioritize opportunities, and shape long-term platform strategy with Product Management
- Develop, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog
- Align with Product Management and technology partners on feature sequencing, roadmap objectives, and PI goals
- Own the product space from discovery through delivery, including requirements definition, prioritization, release readiness, and post-launch feedback
- Lead Agile ceremonies and provide product context, decision-making support, and issue resolution
- Write and prioritize user stories covering stakeholder needs, functional and non-functional requirements, compliance, and operations
- Identify, escalate, and resolve risks, blockers, and delivery-readiness gaps
- Support QA and UAT, secure documentation, and coordinate stakeholder sign-off
- Oversee releases, transition to run, and post-production validation
- Monitor KPIs for product success, operational performance, and team effectiveness
- Lead and collaborate with scrum teams and manage dependencies across internal teams, vendors, and external partners
- Validate development progress, negotiate priorities, and secure stakeholder alignment
- Ensure third-party integrations meet contractual, service-level, and control requirements
- Create and maintain functional documentation
- Lead systems-based product decisions for payment orchestration, authorization, settlement, exception handling, and controls across ACH, card, wire, and instant-payment rails
- Shape shared payment services for consistency, compliance, and scalability across channels
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree OR, in lieu of degree, high school diploma/GED and 8+ years of product management or agile development experience within financial services, fintech, or commercial banking
- 5+ years of product management, systems analyst, or agile development experience within financial services, fintech, or commercial banking
- Exceptional communication, systems thinking, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability and flexibility to travel for business as required
- 3+ years of experience leading development of payment products and services preferred
- Knowledge of micro-services architecture and programming/scripting languages; SAS/SQL strongly preferred
- Knowledge of ACH, card payments, wire transfers, RTP, payment hub architectures, and associated file formats or rules such as NACHA, ISO20022, and SWIFT
- Knowledge of AML, KYC, PCI-DSS, OCC, and CFPB regulatory requirements
- Proactive, with a high degree of self-initiation
- Demonstrated quality/process improvement experience
- Advanced problem-solving skills and ability to synthesize complex requirements into cohesive solutions within a virtual environment
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation, and submit fingerprints as part of onboarding
- Must satisfy Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. required; employment visa sponsorship is not available
