About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Capture and document existing warehouse and inventory processes in the current Microsoft Dynamics NAV ERP system
  • Support the migration of data and processes to SAP
  • Analyze material, item, and inventory data, and cleanse and harmonize master and inventory data
  • Participate in workshops to validate the defined SAP processes and prepare the local implementation
  • Derive required process adjustments from the SAP target design and embed changes within the team at an early stage
  • Translate business requirements into specific implementation and clarification needs within the defined SAP framework
  • Conduct tests and plausibility checks in the SAP prototype, and document deviations and required actions
  • Identify process deviations and data quality issues
  • Support training, go-live preparation, and the hypercare phase
  • Work closely with warehouse operations, procurement, and process and master data management
  • Contribute to the SAP implementation as the central interface between Warehouse Operations, Supply Chain Management, and SAP IT

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed degree or vocational training in logistics, Supply Chain Management, business informatics, or a comparable qualification
  • Experience in warehouse logistics, materials management, or Supply Chain Management
  • Good knowledge of ERP systems
  • Ideally, experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Navision and/or SAP
  • Strong interest in data, systems, and processes
  • Structured, meticulous, and analytical approach to work
  • Strong affinity for master data, inventory, and data quality
  • Ability to present complex interrelationships clearly and understandably
  • Very good German language skills
  • Ability to understand and critically assess processes, identify inaccuracies, and follow up consistently
  • Ability to translate business requirements into specific testing, clarification, and implementation needs within the defined SAP target design
  • Pragmatic and team-oriented approach to work
  • Validate SAP processes together with business departments and implement them locally in a practical manner
  • Act as a link between business departments, processes, and systems, and actively drive change
