About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop, review, and implement accurate forecasts for inventory replenishment for the assigned segment
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to synthesize customer inputs, translate them into forecast implementation, and measure performance/outcomes
- Track forecast performance to identify trends and deviations within the designated segment
- Use analytics to identify needed forecast changes
- Implement forecast changes and communicate adjustments to internal partners
- Collaborate with partners to understand assortment and demand changes related to holidays, events, and business shifts
- Synthesize inputs with system forecasts and historical patterns to develop collaborative forecasts
- Communicate forecast implementation to cross-functional partners and track performance for sales communication
- Identify opportunities to enhance demand forecasting and planning systems, processes, and analytics
- Serve as a business matter expert on Demand Planning and Forecasting
Requirements
What you’ll need- BA/BS degree or experience in lieu of college degrees
- Minimum of 3 years demand planning or related experience
- Strong mathematical and analytic skills with attention to detail
- Ability to recognize data patterns and forecasting implications
- Ability to take initiative and ownership of assigned work projects
- 1+ years of experience with data analysis tools such as Advanced Excel
- 3+ years of relevant work experience in demand planning, forecasting, and/or supply chain planning
- Strong communication skills and ability to articulate complex concepts using storytelling based on data and facts
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States
