About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support strategies to drive increased profitability, process efficiency, cost reduction, and overall business improvement
- Partner with leadership to deliver financial and strategic results using Financial Planning & Analysis best practices
- Support corporate FP&A processes, initiatives, and reporting within Operations
- Facilitate the Annual Operating Plan process and tools within the Region
- Support Region management in preparing monthly business reviews for corporate
- Support Region management in preparing quarterly Business Reviews
- Support the Region finance team in the monthly close process
- Collaborate with Sysco Business Services to ensure a timely, accurate monthly close
- Develop and deploy tools and processes across the organization as defined by the business
- Perform customer incentive analysis and propose recommendations
- Provide cross-functional support to local and corporate initiatives
- Perform financial modeling and ad hoc analytics
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 1+ years of Financial or business-related analysis experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Broad knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to deal with a diverse group of people
- Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently
- Ability to work with little direct supervision
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States
