Key responsibilities & impact
  • Execute transactional core Human Resource processes, including new associate orientation, unemployment claims, onboarding and exit interviews, transitional return to work, leave administration, and OSHA reporting
  • Support hiring managers and Talent Acquisition with recruitment and staffing plans
  • Aid the Human Resource Business Partner in driving an inclusive and diverse culture
  • Administer programs that enhance employee engagement and satisfaction
  • Provide technical, customer relations, and general support for major initiatives and projects
  • Maintain and track compliance programs
  • Create and distribute communications including memos, emails, letters, presentations, spreadsheets, and surveys
  • Track data, consolidate responses, follow up for information, and identify insights
  • Provide administrative support for meetings, conference calls, video conferences, webinars, e-meetings, and new hire orientation
  • Perform other assigned duties
  • Work in a front desk office setting

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma
  • 2-3 years of Human Resources Generalist, Recruitment or Employee Relations experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and organize work activities
  • Ability to analyze and disseminate numerical data
  • Ability to manage work time efficiently
  • Ability to follow procedures and policies
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
  • Ability to identify and solve problems
  • Ability to maintain alphabetical, numerical, and chronological filing systems
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, business writing, grammar, and verbal communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of State and Federal employment laws and ability to interpret policies, procedures, and laws
  • Ability to conduct training programs and make group presentations
  • Strong interpersonal, telephone, and written communication skills
  • Solid organization skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, interruptions, and confidential information
  • Proficiency with PC, Windows, Microsoft Office, and Excel
  • Ability to work independently
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States
  • Ability to meet stated physical demands, including lifting up to 40 pounds
