About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct physical evaluations of final products, intermediate products, raw materials, incoming materials, and existing inventory
- Perform GMP inspections
- Assist in validation studies
- Prepare instrumentation and chemical solutions for Quality department use
- Evaluate raw materials, manufacturing components, batch formulations, and finished products against QC specifications and GMP requirements
- Inspect products produced and assembled in operations areas and inspect the Manufacturing area for GMP compliance
- Analyze test results against established specifications
- Complete paperwork and records for all aspects of the job
- Assist in creating and developing product standards, testing methods, and standard operating procedures
- Maintain a clean and safe environment
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school graduate or equivalent
- Previous quality control experience preferred
- Certified Quality Technician preferred
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
- Ability to work alone and with other people
- Ability to operate computerized equipment and maintain accurate records
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Good PC computer skills (Word, Excel)
- Good math skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Self-directed requiring limited supervision
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers to operate computer equipment, and talk and hear
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
- Required vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth vision, plus ability to adjust focus
