About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead a team of Global Process Owners
  • Define future-state Finance processes for AP, AR, ITC, and RTR
  • Own end-to-end strategic and transactional finance process design across operations, people, technology, data, and performance management
  • Coordinate future-state design and implementation across Core Financials and Financial Engagement Layers (Cora)
  • Serve as a Workday and Finance technology subject matter expert
  • Drive improvements in end-to-end Finance process efficiency and effectiveness
  • Identify and remove obstacles to achieve organizational objectives
  • Own the Workday enterprise Finance modules project
  • Provide strategic oversight of initiatives, project milestones, and key metrics
  • Lead post-acquisition process design and coordination to integrate acquisitions into SBS
  • Set strategic direction for process design, policy development, spend management controls, and technology
  • Drive functional excellence, continuous improvement, process standardization, data standards, and policy
  • Partner with Corporate, SBS, Field, Global functional, executive, consultant, and other internal and external stakeholders
  • Lead strategic initiatives, innovation projects, M&A governance, and integration strategies
  • Define competencies and skills required to lead end-to-end processes
  • Oversee the accuracy, timeliness, quality, and compliance of financial information
  • Establish metrics and best-practice targets to drive visibility and continuous improvement
  • Support global process design standardization, functional requirements, and global implementation
  • Build morale, mobilize teams, and leverage people, processes, and technology to achieve goals

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree required in a Finance-related field
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience
  • Deep experience driving strategic initiatives
  • Experience driving M&A integrations into a large, diverse enterprise
  • Strong finance transformation experience preferred
  • Ability to think conceptually and creatively with limited oversight or direction
  • Ability to work with ambiguity and translate it into clear, logical designs
  • Ability to comprehend new systems and articulate concepts
  • Understanding of business process improvement methods, change management, and project management
  • Ability to drive and improve end-to-end process efficiencies and effectiveness
  • Strong knowledge of finance principles
  • Strong communication skills
  • Effective conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to implement effective global processes and manage partnerships
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States
  • Expected to travel frequently; travel percentage up to 25%
