About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Protect T-Mobile's digital infrastructure and sensitive data
- Proactively simulate Advanced Persistent Threats to uncover previously undetected cybersecurity incidents
- Develop and implement advanced security protocols and measures
- Identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities through regular system and network analysis
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify security needs and implement improvements
- Ensure compliance with T-Mobile's cybersecurity policies and regulatory requirements
- Conduct security assessments and audits to evaluate existing security solutions and suggest improvements
- Educate and train staff on cybersecurity best practices and new security technologies
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned by business management
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, or equivalent work experience
- Bachelor's Degree plus 2 years of related work experience OR combination of education and experience deemed equivalent
- Acceptable areas of study include Computer Science or Information Technology
- Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI)
- Knowledge of Cybersecurity
- Knowledge of Escalation Management
- Knowledge of Security Automation
- Knowledge of Security Engineering
- Knowledge of Security Incident Management
- Knowledge of Security Technologies
- Knowledge of Security Testing
- Knowledge of Stakeholder Management
- At least 18 years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Travel required
- Preferred: Incident Analysis, Log Analysis, Security Monitoring
- Preferred certifications: GCIH, GCFA, GCIA, CMON, GCDA
- CISSP and/or CCSK and/or CCSP and/or CISA/CISM certification a plus
