About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide technical support to resolve network performance issues
- Contribute to outage resolution efforts
- Manage smaller projects or project segments
- Deliver accurate status and progress updates
- Identify and recommend process improvements related to maintenance and repair activities
- Assist in developing job aids, scopes of work, and procedural documentation with senior technicians
- Complete required training to maintain current knowledge of systems, products, and organizational standards
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned by business management
- Support network operations to maintain and improve network performance and reliability
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree OR combination of education and experience deemed equivalent (Required)
- Vocational/Technical Training or related field (Preferred)
- 2-4 years working experience in Field Operations and maintenance (Preferred)
- 2-4 years wireless telecommunications or other related experience (Preferred)
- Knowledge of 5G New Radio (NR) (Required)
- Knowledge of Base Station (Required)
- Knowledge of Continuous Development (Required)
- Knowledge of Disaster Recovery Planning (Required)
- Knowledge of Network Troubleshooting (Required)
- Knowledge of Project Management (Required)
- Knowledge of Radio Access Networks (RAN) (Required)
- Knowledge of Technical Support (Required)
- Knowledge of Wireless Backhaul (Required)
- At least 18 years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Willingness and ability to travel
- DOT-regulated position
- Able to live in the Lafayette, Kokomo, Logansport, and surrounding area or relocate at time of hire
