About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own end-to-end product strategy, delivery, and lifecycle for enterprise AI products and reusable AI capabilities
  • Define product vision, strategy, roadmaps, feature sets, release scopes, and long-term investment strategy
  • Drive measurable outcomes including revenue growth, cost reduction, adoption, retention, automation impact, and customer experience improvement
  • Conduct customer research, market analysis, competitive analysis, and quantitative and qualitative data analysis
  • Identify breakthrough AI opportunities, product innovation opportunities, root causes, and opportunity size and impact
  • Define success metrics and track product health, technical KPIs, and growth targets
  • Use rapid hypothesis-driven testing, paper prototypes, A/B testing, MVPs, user testing, and experimentation
  • Secure and maintain product funding through business cases, funding requests, and enterprise processes
  • Communicate and sell product ideas and presentations to SVP, EVP, C-level, and other audiences
  • Lead customer discovery and validation activities and maintain an active voice-of-customer feed
  • Write detailed product requirements, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Advocate for customer needs and ensure measurable customer value and exceptional user experience
  • Collaborate with technical architects, UX/UI designers, engineering teams, development teams, and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Ensure AI solutions are technically feasible, scalable, and aligned with technical debt and long-term investments
  • Coordinate with GTM and commercialization teams on launch strategies and go-to-market activities
  • Drive resolution of technical and business challenges during development
  • Define foundational AI platform capabilities, tooling, and reusable services
  • Coordinate Agile Release Train and Agile Team delivery, priorities, dependencies, and synchronization
  • Run beta and pilot programs and support product adoption
  • Generate dashboards and reports tracking product health and success metrics
  • Collaborate with advertising and public relations to promote products
  • Support sales, marketing, and stakeholder teams with product and technical knowledge and documentation
  • Ensure product quality and performance in production and lead response to critical defects
  • Develop adoption tools and training materials and drive improvement plans
  • Support core agile practices, lean practices, waste elimination, DevOps, and CI/CD
  • Build relationships across Network, IT, Business, Marketing, Legal, Finance, Architecture, Engineering, and other organizations
  • Mentor product managers, establish AI product best practices, and represent T-Mobile at industry events and innovation forums

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years’ experience in a hands-on technical role writing production code, solution engineering, or technical architecture in a large-scale company/application/product environment
  • More than 10 years of relevant Product Management experience in an agile software product development environment
  • Mastery of business-side skills, including communication, customer research, and product vision
  • Mastery-level understanding of customer experience
  • Mastery-level understanding of platform technologies and components such as security, performance, optimization, and API integration
  • Expert-level knowledge of the full technology stack on which the assigned product runs
  • Proven success directing matrixed resources and delivering software using Agile Scrum methodologies across multiple teams
  • Experience working with external partners, vendors, and ecosystem players
  • Expertise in design thinking, lean startup methodologies, rapid prototyping, and hypothesis-driven development
  • Experience developing Initiatives, Features, and User Stories for DevOps teams
  • Experience delivering large and complex business/technology initiatives as a Product Manager or lead technology role
  • Proven ability to communicate with leadership and technical and non-technical audiences while influencing and collaborating
  • Knowledge and experience with integration patterns, APIs, and protocols such as REST, EDI, and SOAP
  • Deep understanding of AI technologies, capabilities, and limitations
  • Experience with LLMs, conversational AI, and ML platforms
  • Proficiency with analytics tools and metrics-based product optimization
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Must work in the office three days per week in either the Seattle, Washington or Frisco, Texas area
